Wow, long time nv see my blog le, today jus revisited it again. HELLO BLOG!!! HAHA =) HOW R U? Seen alot of long lost thoughts & pictures in my blog. Really bring back memories~ It's been 2 years ever since I blog, the last time I remember was in sec 4 before I graduated and now I'm a year 2 student in SP. Time flies~

I guess blogging is not as popular as years ago, due to the increasing social networking sites like facebook, twitter... Guess ppl have no time juggling with so many accts. For me, I also will not go into blogging again, cos currently quite busy in my CCA, SP.Primers. I am the Vice-president & there r lots of projects to keep to club going & growing. Tough responsiblity!!! Anyway, I hope that in the dec holidays I can have some spare time blogging & visiting my friend's blogs. =)

The 19-year-old, from Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, who was
photographing the leopard for a course project, was
astounded by the mouse's behaviour.
He said: 'I have no idea where the mouse came from - he just

appeared in the enclosure after the keeper had dropped in the
meat for the leopard.'

'He didn't take any notice of the leopard, just went straight
over to the meat and started feeding himself.'

'But the leopard was pretty surprised - she bent down and
sniffed the mouse and flinched a bit like she was scared.
'In the meantime the mouse just carried on eating like nothing
had happened..

... Even a gentle shove does not deter the little creature
from getting his fill.

'It was amazing, even the keeper who had thrown the meat
into the enclosure was shocked - he said he'd never seen
anything like it before.'

Project owner Jackie James added: 'It was so funny to see -
Sheena batted the mouse a couple of times to try to get it away
from her food.'

'But the determined little thing took no notice and just carried on.'
Sheena was brought in to the Santago Rare Leopard Project
from a UK zoo when she was just four months old.

She is one of 14 big cats in the private collection started by
Jackie 's late husband Peter in 1989.

The African Leopard can be found in the continent's forests,
grasslands, savannas, and rainforests.

.... so the mouse continued to eat the leopard's lunch and show the leopard who was the boss.

Just proves no one can push you around without your permission.

I read this e-mail article and find it extremely interesting. Wanted to share with all of u.

Even after you see it, it is still hard to believe!
Water Bridge in Germany. Unbelievable
Six years, 500 million euros, 918 meters long........now this is engineering!
This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and
West Germany, as part of the unification project. It is located in the city of
Middleburg, near Berlin. The photo was taken on the day of inauguration.

To those who appreciate engineering projects, here's a puzzle for you.
Did that bridge have to be designed to withstand the additional weight of ship
and barge traffic, or just the weight of the water?

Ans: It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water!
The ship always displaces an amount of water that weighs the same as the ship,
regardless of how heavily a ship may be loaded.

Back From Taiwan!

Yesterday jus return back to SGP! >.< Midnight flight. Onli have abt 7 hrs of sleep. So tired but satisfied. Taiwan is wonderful! We visited many places of interest such as the Taipei 101 building. Simpily amazing. We had to take a lift to the observatory deck on the 88th floor. I was kinda uncomfortable cos the elevator's spd was fast and the air pressure changing. We reach to the deck in 35s! The deck was crowded with tourists. The view was disappointing cos we were obstructed by clouds. But i manage to snap some photos of the city's view.

Kinda tired now. Need to go back to hibernation mode. Haha. Nite?

Yepee, finally finish the 1st international major exams. So relief. For the past few months keep studying. No time 2 blog, veri stressful, lots of pimples. But now, RELAX! ^^ Furthermore, i can continue with my games. Wahaha... This year O'level quite ez. Maybe I can get abt 4A1s.
5 more days to Taiwan! Looking forward to the trip!

Today is the last day of January 2009... So sad... >.< 31 days have past liao... So fast! This year is kinda speedy cuz during october, there is the 'o'level. My tution teacher said tat tis year 'o'level will be a bit tougher! I hav 2 bak up my subject & score. Btw, if u wanna noe my target 4 the 'o'level, it is actually below 10points for L1R5.

A-maths is quite ok cuz i gt A2 for sec3 E-O-Y exams- need more focus on logaithum.
English is quite bad cuz the comprehension pull mi down.
Chinese no need to say( pass can liao)...
E-maths is also ok as there is no points aft A1- Juz try 2 maintain.
Geo need lots of memorising on coastal landforms- if not can get A1.
Science also ez la- juz memorise the formulars & the laws ( must noe when to apply the formulars.)
Humanities a bit dificult- need to do SBQ & SEQ. Quite alot of memorising also needed to be done.

Ok le... Time to do my damm hw. Nowadays so little time 2 do blogging so cya! Wish all of u happy studing!

Yesterday when to Ngee Ann Poly open house. It wad quite cool there were lts of ppl there. Ngee Ann got quite alot of courses & their CCA is quite awesome. But none of the courses there interest mi. My frens knw their courses well & I got a feeling that they might register for this poly. So, I might not c them in the future. Sad...sad... Btw, I might go into SP cuz there got a course that interest mi alot -Architect. I love drwing & legos so maybe architect is the course 4 mi! However, I might go JC if my results is good. So wait till then decide...

Today, it is the best ever day i ever experience in my 15years. In the morning, i woke up @ 7:30am. Meet my frend, Darren @ the Yew Tee MRT stn. Then, we headed to Lavander where i make my 1st IC! Woohoo... I'm all grown up. (3more yrs can watch MC18 movies liao. Hahaha...)

Next, we went 2 a nearby fc. I gt tea 4 my breakfast. When we abt 2 leave, Darren bought a Dou Sa Ball, then the hawker give me a butterfly donut 4 free. I refused buy she insisted. So I accept her gift. At noon, we walked around VivoCity waiting 4 the others to arrived 4 the trip to Sentosa.

Abt 2pm, we reached Sentosa. Played on the beach for 3 hrs. All of them were veri naughty- bully mi, they buried mi in the sand. Juz then, it started the drizzle. Instead of helping mi, they like wanted to escape, eaving mi behind. >.< Fortunately, the rain stopped & i unleashed my strength and rose up frm the sand. ( Sory, did'nt manage to take any pics.)

Later, bathe & travell hm. At night, my Dad bought for mi a birthday cake. Yay! ok, it tasted awesome, as there were blueberry in it! Ate he cake within 5mins. Haha... Hungry Family.
At the end of the day, I felt totally great. I say thxs to everyone tat help mi & try to make everyone happy too. Btw, receive lots of SMS wishing hppy b'day & mrry chirstmas.

Hahahahahaha... Last week my family went to Malaysia. So coooool! We went to KL. Stay @ Cititel Hotel. I tell u tat KL is quite a busy place to be... In the aftnoon, alot of ppl sia! Everywhere also traffic jam. Take abt 2hr frm KL to Midvalley. Anyway, KL is quite shiok. Alot of landmarks. We visit the Bird Park, Butterfly Park, KLCC (twin tower shopping centre) & KL tower. I wish i can stay @ there longer cuz we onli went 3days 2nights ... So fun! I upload some photos for all of my dear frens to c...

Orchard Road Trip

Today, I went to Orchard Road with my friends...

We went there @ abt 12noon. First, take bus no. 190 frm CCK to Tang's. Then, walk to Wheellock's Place, Delwyn repair his ipod touch. Nxt, went to FarEast Shopping Centre, Darren buy a new keypaad 4 his PSP... Then, go to Takashimaya walk around. Eat lunch @ Burger King. (the burger set so big, I eat untill so full! ) Aft tat, wtch movie. 'Bolt' soo nice & touching... Then, go walk around Orchard Road. Go Paragon, Forum shopping mall.
@ 4:45pm headed home.

10Km marathon!

Yesterday, i when 2 a 10km marathon. Waaa! 10km lei... It was held by Standard Chartered Bank. The race starts @ 7.45am. Abt 50k runners turn up @ the whole event. My race route tat i participate in was quite a nice scenery. We ran pass the I.R , F1 seating gallery, SG flyer, Suntec City , Esplanate & into the Padang. Marvellous! During the race, towards the 6th km, I started to feel giddy. It was a nightmare. I decided to walk slowly as i could nt feel balance properly. Fortunately, there was a drink station in abt 50m frm mi. Aft drinkin a few cups of water, I felt refreshed. Wow, I might be dehydrated juz now... I thought. Anyway, it is quite a nice but frightening experience as i might faint halfway.

Yay... 2day morning, I arrived @ SG at 5am! The trip to China- Beijing, Hangzhou was fantastic. We visited many famous landmarks such as The Great Wall, Forbidden City, West Lake & The Olympic Stadium... I learn more abt the chinese culture. Everyday was like a new chapter to me. In addition, there was a homestay- Veri shiok! My Caihe's buddy live in a condo. The enviornment was so comfortable. Waaa! Overall, I made alot of new frens in sec 2 & 1. I also enjoyed the company of my new frens. AND... I LOVED THE TRIP!

2day, Darren, Weitian & Mi went to Suntec City! We went there 2 see a sword shop. ( too bad cant take any pictures in there. They dun allow. >.<) There r lots of real SWORDS, pistols. There r also weapons from games, anime such as Kingdom Hearts & Bleach. WOW! Can't believe it man. But it was a veri small shop. Next we explore the whole Suntec City...

2day i go to VivoCity. I go there all alone... Nobody with me. Sad . All my frens r busy. Some r playing their computer games. I felt so left out. >.< I dunno how to play their games. ( All so complicated) Haizzz...

@ 3pm, reached VivoCity. Walk 1 whole round of the shopping mall. Take mi 30mins. So many things to see & to buy. =.= But most of it too expensive. $$$ nvm. I dun need them.

Buy a cheese stick. (Quite nice to eat, soft. the biscuit at the bottom is veri crispy & tasty.) Spent abt 15mins @ the candy empire.

@4pm, went back home... The train wait soooo lonnngg. Reach home at 5pm!!! Waaa. 1hr train trip. Then, go blog and watch anime... D-grey Man ^^

Kusu Island

2day, I went to Kusu Island in the morning. It was a very small island but a beautiful & clean island. Reach there @ 10am. There is a temple there & a small 'kopitiam' . Kusu island is like a turtle island & there are quite a large no. of turtle enclosure around the island. In addition, when u view from te north of the island, u can c Singapore's CBD ( central business district) . The ferry ride was 10mins+ during the arrival to Kusu Island, I have giddiness cuz the sea was quite rough. The trip back to Singapore was way better. Anyway, I snapped some photos throughout the trip. Wad a day!

Chess Tournament

Today, I attend a mini chess tournament held my my sch. It was so mini tat there were onli 8 ppl. I also meet some new frenz @ the tournament.

Venue: Cabin
Weather: Raining!
Time: 3pm-5pm ( The poster said 2:30pm but the teacher comes & unlock the cabin's door @ 3pm. Wad the...)
Difficulty: 3.5/5

Anyway, I lost the 1st round! Haizzz... Actually, I was going 2 win. Then, I made a careless move & my queen was 'eaten'. I say: Noooooo! but tats toooo late. I wished i can reverse the time again. I, a sec3 student lost to my junior who is sec2. zzz .
Wads even more amazing is tat my bro who is in sec2, won 1st in the whole tournament. 3rd is Joel and 4th is Wei Tian. ( My 2 classmates got in the top 4 position. I am so embarass, so wan to Cryyy...)

But aft 2day tournament, I learnt a NEW lesson.
1. Do not underestimate my opponent.
2. Observe the enviorment first.
3. Think twice.
( Failure is success! Never give up ZK! Nxt year, I will hav my revenge! U all will c, mauahaha... )

Yay! 2day is a adventurous day & a perfect day for mi- but a boring one... Aft the morning absembly, we proceed to the class. I play a chess match with my frenz cuz got nthing 2 do ~ won him. Wahaha4ha. Then, we proceed to the hall for a SICKO seminar. ( Those pictures were totally discusting! Eg. They show HIV/STI infected private parts. ) Imagine it. Eeeeek.
Next, a 1hr talk by the Anything/Whatever company. Lastly, the newspaper reporter.

Aft sch, go to frenz hse. Play gundam seed game. Quite a nice game but i was trashed by my frenz. Haha... It was a nice experience piloting a gundam! Then, went home, play soccer with my bro & Wei Tian. Got no energy to chase the ball... Damm tired!

At night, have dinner with my bro. Play pokemon cards together. Hehe... Quite childish, but i enjoy the game. Had alot of fun arguing over a pokemon card. Finally, go online MSN. Counsel my frenz abt their problems. Blogging.

Haizzz... Tired day! But i can't sleep. maybe juz exhasted.

2day is marking day for Regent Sec! lol. I dun enjoy 2day cuz busy with school activities.
In the morning, I got nthing to do. ( Wanted to ask my frenz to play badminton but can't reach them.) Sianzzz...
12noon~ Sch for another video project (KWN) , Kids witness news. I not kid! zzz. Any way, I spent the whole afternoon in sch. It sux! @ 1pm+ went to lot1 for lunch & fliming abt ppl queuing up, NTUC, food court. Haizzz
2pm+ bought bubble tea. ( Increase liao! Last time $1.20, now $1.50 ) lol. Walk bac sch, continue with project untill 5pm.
2day I actually wanted 2 go out, spent time with my frenz, but becuz of the stupit thingy, cannot liao. I wan cry... Sad... sad...

Today is a brand new chapter for mi! Exams is over! I can finally do the things that i wanted. So, wad i gonna do? Actually, during the exams, i felt like i wanted to do alot of things, but 2day, i got nth to do. Wad theee...

4 players: Zhi Kang, Darren, Wei Tian & Yong Quan.
Time: 5:00pm-6:15pm

I won Darren & Wei Tian easily. Hehehe. However, I gt trashed by Yong Quan!

Nvm Zhi Kang, failure is success! U will one day surpass YQ!
We had a 'singles' match and a 'team' match.
I team with darren in the 'team' match, we won YQ & WT. Yay...

2day, sch is quite boring... Nothing special happen. Haizzz. Can anybody tlk 2 mi now? I very emo lei! Anyway, holiday is coming. I very busy cuz got (AEM- Food Innovation). Every wed & fri from 2:30pm - 6:00pm @ Singapore Polytechnic. Then my CCA ask me to do the KWN project ( a video production) about culture. Hope 2 have some free time to take a break!

Beijing's Oylmpics Games

Wow, this few days is the beijing olympics. All the channels are showing the games LIVE! The opening performance was too fantastic! The torch relay was totally wonderful, the runner was lifted up into the open air to lit up the grand torch!

School's National Day

Our school have it's national day parade & concert today. Early in the morning, I saw alot of uniform groups students preparing for their parade march. Its was quite colourful! (^_^) The parade was fantastic and very co-ordinate. Their efforts paid off! Next, the students proceed into the hall 4 a concert organize by the various CCAs groups.

Common Test

HI there, 2day i feel very stress up! Cuz the next week is all our common test. I am studying hard now & i hope i can pass & get As for my subject! Hahahhaha! In my opinion, everyone hates tests (including the teachers) but i realise that test is good 4 us cuz we can knw which topic we need to understand better. In addition, test is a good summary & a wake up call for us.

Cross country

Yesterday was our annual cross-country run. There were lots of catagories. The boys ran 3.8km whereas the girls ran 3km... I got in 3rd placing in my Secondary 3 boys catagory! The main objective of cross-country run event is to promote group participation and house spirits rather than test a student's athletic prowess or endurance. Anyway, it was totally awesome!
